In recent acts of kindness, the Prince and Princess Charles Offokaja Foundation made 3 cash transfers totalling ₦30,000 to 2 patients.
₦20,000 was donated to a sickle cell patient for urgent medication that prevented a crisis from becoming life-threatening, with an additional ₦5,000 for additional feeding-before-medication after the patient’s condition had stabilized. ₦5,000 was given to a diabetic patient who has a (more stable, but equally sensitive) diabetic ulcer to help improve the patient’s welfare.

After the payment the joyous mother and her newborn baby proceeded to their home from the hospital.
By alleviating the financial burden of medical expenses, the foundation ensured that the new mother could focus on her recovery and the well-being of her baby.
