We Gave Cash 2k Transfer To Encourage Responsible Worker (Others Became Inspired Too)

So, one of our officers was in a public centre and all the senior level staff ignored people who had come for urgent service. But this staff who was not a senior staff noticed visitors were not being attended to while those meant to attend to them were just gisting.

This staff who we nominate to be promoted to manager took it upon herself to get someone to see us.

We were impressed and gave her a cash transfer of 2k to encourage her and inspire others. We noticed that others immediately started behaving better. Maybe next time will be there time.

    On January 24th 2023 We Helped 2 People With N5000 & N2000

On January 24, 2023, while scouring through social media looking for people in need of help, we came across 2 people that really needed help. One needed food and had ulcer. Hadn’t eaten since the day before. We helped the person with a cash transfer to get food immediately.

The other person needed urgent money for malaria treatment. We are happy to say that we were able to help the person with the needed cash in time. And they used our cash transfer to get malaria medication and have recovered.

We implore you to help us help so many that need help and are crying out. We just heard that the Naira is now N1450. In a country where the Naira has jumped from N750 to N1450 in a short while, where there aren’t many jobs, and the youth are without means to feed, marry, etc., your kind help is needed.

Please donate (Naira or US Dollars) to help us reach out to those who are really suffering. No amount is too small.

Du Plessis Defeats Strickland, Emerges UFC Middleweight Champion

Dricus Du Plessis became the new middleweight champion at UFC 297 on Saturday. He beat the popular American Sean Strickland, but by a split decision.

Recall that Strickland had surprisingly taken the belt from Nigeria’s Israel Adesanya last September. South Africa’s Du Plessis had come into the main event with a stunning Technical Knock Out win over former champion Robert Whittaker in July 2023.

The scorecard shows it was a neck and neck race, and could have gone either way: 48-47, 47-48, 48-47 in favour of Du Plessis.

In the co-main event, Raquel Pennington emerged victorious in the vacant women’s bantamweight title by unanimous decision in her fight with Mayra Bueno Silva.

  • Why SERAP Is A Necessary Organization

Why SERAP Is A Necessary Organization

On social media, I frequently read people saying that SERAP just sues the government every week but they hardly see immediate results of those lawsuits.

This reminds me of news of one of our lawsuits we shared on social media. By evening some people were asking us what the judgement was of the lawsuit. Hahaha. It’s not that immediate.

The truth is that court cases rarely end in one day. Some end in months. And then, there are cases that clearly drag on for longer than they should.

Prolonged duration of lawsuits are not always the fault of the plaintiffs who initiated the suit. In fact, many plaintiffs would prefer the judgement of the case to be given on the very day the lawsuit is filed.

For those asking what results SERAP has gotten from its frequent lawsuits, I can tell you one for free. They once uncovered a 3 billion Naira corruption through their lawsuit. Isn’t that a huge result?

Should SERAP stop public interest litigations just because the results take some time to materialize? The resounding answer from our side is a Big ‘No!’

An organization like SERAP is surely needed.
